Domain Cache Clearer does not collect, transmit, store, or process any user data whatsoever. Specifically:

What Happens When You Use the Extension

When you click the extension icon:

• ✅ The extension reads the current tab's URL (stays in your browser)
• ✅ You select which data types to clear
• ✅ The extension clears only the selected data for that domain
• ✅ All operations happen locally in your browser
• ✅ Nothing is sent to external servers

2. Data Usage

The extension's sole purpose is to clear cache and storage data from your browser for the active domain. It:

• Operates entirely within your local browser environment
• Does not communicate with external servers
• Does not share data with third parties (there is no data to share)
• Does not use analytics or tracking tools

3. Permissions Explained

The extension requires certain Chrome permissions to function. Here's what each permission is used for:

activeTab

To identify which domain you want to clear data from. This permission allows the extension to read the current tab's URL so it can display the domain name to you.

cookies

To remove cookies for the specific domain you select. The extension only accesses cookies for deletion purposes and only for the domain shown to you.

browsingData

To clear localStorage, IndexedDB, and cache for the specific domain. This API allows targeted data removal without affecting other domains.

scripting

To clear sessionStorage by injecting a simple "sessionStorage.clear()" command into the active tab. This is the only way to clear sessionStorage in a targeted manner.

storage

Reserved for potential future features to save your preferences (like default selections). Currently has minimal usage.

Host Permissions (<all_urls>)

Required to access and remove cookies from any domain you visit. The extension only operates on the single domain you see displayed when you open the popup. This broad permission is necessary because the extension must work on any website, but all operations are limited to the domain shown to you.

4. Third-Party Services

None. This extension does not use any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external APIs.

5. Data Security

Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no data security risk. All extension operations occur locally within your Chrome browser. The extension code is:

• Self-contained with no external dependencies
• Open source and available for inspection
• Does not use remote code or external scripts

6. Children's Privacy

This extension does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected, no special provisions for children's privacy are necessary.
