Privacy Policy

The short version: Tab Link List reads your current window’s tabs only when you open it. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent anywhere, and no data is collected.

What Tab Link List does

Tab Link List is a browser extension that reads the tabs currently open in your active browser window and displays them as a structured, clickable list. It allows you to copy this list in a clean format for use in emails, documents, or notes. All processing happens instantly and locally within your browser.

What data is accessed

When you open the extension, it temporarily accesses the following information from tabs in your current window:

This access is required to generate the list shown in the popup and to create the copyable output.

What data is NOT collected or stored

Storage

Tab Link List does not store any data. It does not use chrome.storage or any other local or remote storage. All tab data is handled in memory and discarded immediately after use.

Data sharing

No data is transmitted to any server or third party. The extension has no backend, no analytics, no tracking, and makes no network requests.

Clipboard usage

When you click the copy button, the generated tab list is written to your clipboard. This action is fully user-initiated and only occurs when you explicitly press the button.

Permissions explained

Children

Tab Link List does not knowingly collect any data from users, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If the extension’s functionality changes in a way that affects data handling, this policy will be updated accordingly. Any changes will remain limited to local, on-device behavior.
